IRMTNZ is Aotearoa New Zealand’s only professional organisation for private music teachers, established by an Act of Parliament. Collectively we teach a wide variety of instruments and styles to students of all ages and levels in studios and schools nationwide.

IRMTNZ endorses and supports its members as professional music teachers, provides regular professional development opportunities, and upholds standards of excellence in music teaching.
