A multi-level venue/event room for hire that can be set up to suit a large range of different events. Totara Street is an events and entertainment venue located in the heart of Mount Maunganui.
The facilities at Totara Street are used for a number of different events, workshops and corporate functions. Having the ability to set the room up for an intimate vibe with 20 people, or open both levels and house up to 400 patrons is what sets us apart. Founded in 2015, Totara Street has played host to some of NZ’s most prestigious artists and entertainers. From hosting shows such as Hollie Smith and Head Like A Hole, to being readily available for birthday parties and corporate functions, the beauty of the space is that it can be manipulated to suit any event organiser’s wishes. The room is equipped with a beautiful Martin Audio sound system, solid in-house lighting rig, two licensed bars, commercial kitchen, mezzanine floor, and excellent sight lines to the stage. Whatever your focus is our events team can tailor an event package to suit all the needs of your clientele.
